	Port Hueneme Light Constructed in 1943 to replace the demolished wooden Lighthouse of 1874, the Hueneme Light has just been refinished. It's original Fresnel lens is still operational after over 100 years. Port Hueneme citizens are extremely proud of this beautiful lighthouse, and Hueneme Harbor Days makes an attempt each October during its festival, to provide tours (depending upon threat conditions at the time). The Hueneme School District sponsors free round trip bus excursions all day long, at no cost to fair-goers. Terry L. Bruno, HHD Board Directors
