Steve Rezac displaying his Dondai Kite

The "SkyArt Kite Team" was created soon after Steve and Debbie Rezac
were married in 2002. Steve introduced Deb to his collection of large
and unusual kites, and even presented her with some as gifts
last Christmas.

Their collection includes a 100' Trilobite, several foils and lifters,
a 50' spinsock, lots of line laundry, several large wind wheels, a scuba diver,
a squid, a large pink flamingo, a double dondai of Steve's design and creations...
and many, many more. They haven't ever stopped to actually count the number of kites in their various bags.

While living in Las Vegas, Steve inherited several kites in 1993 from
a younger brother who passed away. He didn't know anything about
flying kites, so he visited Scott Dyer, who owned a kite shop.
Scott's explanations, help and instruction ignited an explosion
in Steve's interest, and he began collecting various kites.

Steve, WindWheel and Trilobite

Fascinated by the blend of science and art, he taught himself to sew,
and he was soon designing and building kites. Steve quickly picked up
the art of applique, and added complex designs to his kites.
Steve and Deb love the coast, and Steve's love of flying kites was soon
adopted by his wife. Together, they love to fly at various festivals
throughout the west, entertaining large crowds with safe flying
and spectacular "SkyArt".
